Private Health Insurance Rebates Available
Did you know that you may be eligible to receive private health insurance rebates for medical aids or appliances, such as medical grade compression garments?
*In order to be eligible:
– You must have private health insurance extras cover, and be covered for ‘aids or appliances’ or similar.
– You need an appointment with a physiotherapist, or suitably-trained medical professional to assess for suitability.
– Get in touch with your health insurance provider to check what they require in order for you to receive the rebate. Often a letter from your physio will be enough to receive the rebate, however every insurance company is different.
– Check the website of the compression garment company to see if they have a form for your physio to fill out.
